April Prentice - a.k.a. DJ Wild Thang
April Prentice, known as DJ Wild Thang, is a Texas-rooted entertainer who began her DJ career at 21. Years of working in the wedding and event industry have given her a feel for different crowds and the moments that bring people together. Her experience grew beyond DJing into broader involvement with weddings and events. Whether she’s connecting with guests through music or inviting them to take part, April brings an outgoing, personal touch to the room. She also has more than 20 years of karaoke experience, making audience participation a natural part of what she does.
April has leveraged her experience and expertise with events and is the owner of Wild Weddings & Events and hosts the annual Wild Weddings Expo. She has a curated a list of excellent venues and vendors that can cover everything including: venue security, mobile bartending services, photo booths and more - and of course if you need a DJ... there's DJ Wild Thang!
